TV distribution is becoming popular within the domestic setting with Sky and freeview channels often required in multiple rooms. There are several ways to achieve this which ACS are happy to advise on.
An output is taken from a Sky box (or equivalent) in the main living room and distributed to other outlets around the house. If only 1 room is to be linked (e.g master bedroom) a direct feed can installed between the rooms but if multiple rooms are to be connected a "loft box" is required.
This system is limited to one Sky channel being available at each outlet but this can be changed through the use of magic eye controllers.
Individual Sky boxes are often required in different rooms so that different premium channels can be viewed at the same time. There are several ways to achieve this including the installation of multiswitches, Quattro and Octo LNB's on satellite dishes and centralized distribution systems.
